Sun 04 January 2004 View all news

On 30 March, the NSCA and IEEP published two studies looking into the implications of road transport biofuels in the UK and globally. An expert paper on global impacts addresses methodological issues with well-to-wheel assessments and allocation of emissions. A stakeholder paper on environmental and rural impacts of biofuels analyses threats and opportunities that arise from an increase in UK biofuel crop production.

The reports were funded by the Department for Transport and the BOC Foundation and presented at a Conference on 30 March.
